Tricks of the trade are shared to show how he used his past nightmare experiences to help him succeed in his recovery from epilepsy, addiction and mental health diagnoses. Many techniques discussed in the book have been helpful for people struggling with addictions and mental illnesses. The author believes that courage, resilience and faith are crucial factors needed to overcome adversity and take the high road.
