Ce livre est destiné aux chercheurs travaillant dans le domaine de la chirurgie et de la radiologie, en particulier à ceux qui s’intéressent à l’élaboration et à la recherche de nouveaux systèmes de notation dans les cas d’appendicite aiguë. L’objectif est de réduire les taux d’appendicectomie négative et d’augmenter la sensibilité et la spécificité du diagnostic. Nous pouvons ajouter de nouveaux examens et/ou remplacer quelques examens pour remettre en question les systèmes de notation précédents. Le monde a besoin de changements et nous ne voulons pas non plus stagner dans la recherche et les études se poursuivent.
