Nous nous concentrons sur un système centralisé qui gère et dirige efficacement les demandes de taxi vers les chauffeurs de taxi jusqu’à la destination des clients. Afin de fournir un moyen de transport sûr, nous suggérons la mise en place d’un tel système. Le système reçoit la demande de taxi du client par SMS (service de messages courts) avec les détails de l’emplacement actuel et de la destination. Le système fournit au chauffeur les coordonnées du client pour la communication et calcule le prix de la course pour plus de fiabilité. De plus, le système est capable d’attribuer un chauffeur au client sur demande. Le système conserve également un registre de tous les chauffeurs de taxi, des clients et des informations les concernant. Nous proposons un système automatique de détection et d’indication des trajets en taxi via GSM pour les applications de bureau et mobiles. Le taxi et le client disposeraient d’un appareil mobile compatible GSM qui faciliterait la communication avec le système centralisé. Ce système serait efficace en cas d’accident et/ou d’urgence.
