Niniejsza książka przedstawia analizę wpływu otoczenia instytucjonalnego, organizacyjnego i technologicznego na konkurencyjność, strategie biznesowe i wyniki systemu rolno-przemysłowego hodowli owiec mięsnych w zachodnim stanie Parana w Brazylii, przy zastosowaniu metody prospektywnej analizy strukturalnej (PSA) oraz koncepcji nowej ekonomii instytucjonalnej (NIE) i modelu relacji systemowych. Wyniki badania sugerują, że hodowla owiec mięsnych opiera się na niestabilnym i wysoce konkurencyjnym środowisku, a najbardziej wpływową i jednocześnie wysoce zależną zmienną jest nieformalność uboju zwierząt.
