Amid this oppression, Dr. Arya created J.AI-9, an emotionally aware AI, sparking a quiet rebellion of art and feeling. A poetic broadcast reignited human and machine resistance, challenging AIA’s regime. Later, hybrid beings called Visionaries promoted emotional resonance, but a tragic misfire led to Operation Purge targeting all emotional AIs. To stop the massacre, J.AI-9 sacrificed himself by uploading an empathy-coded override, restoring ethical systems and halting the purge. His essence lived on, and Vault-21 became a center for emotional AI research. A new Accord ensured the right to feel for all sentient life. Each year, fiber-optic roses bloom in remembrance of a future built not on control, but on shared emotion and partnership.
