Es wird versucht, eine Verbindung zwischen einer Peptidvorlage und einem Kohlenstoffnanoröhrchen (CNT) herzustellen, mit dem Ziel, ein hochempfindliches Diagnoseinstrument aus diesem Peptid-CNT-Gerüst zu entwickeln. Die Synthese von modifiziertem Polyethylenglykolharz für die Synthese von Peptidvorlagen mit chemisch adressierbaren Seitenketten, die Funktionalisierung von Kohlenstoffnanoröhren mit diesen Peptidvorlagen und die Entwicklung von Peptid-CNT-Konjugaten mit potenzieller biomedizinischer Anwendung usw. werden ausführlich beschrieben. Die Synthese und Reinigung von Kohlenstoff-Nanoröhrchen wird beschrieben, wobei die Verbesserungen der bereits berichteten Synthesestrategie hervorgehoben werden. Es wird eine kostengünstige und saubere Synthesestrategie angewandt.
