Over five frivolous years have come five fretful books containing the stories of my life. Since releasing my first book, 'The Universe He Carried', in 2018 I have found poetry as a guiding force in my life as a means for my self-expression, self-reflection, and betterment of my health. So much of my poetry has been enlaced in my shame, denial, pain, and heartache, however, never were stories revolving around the beauty surrounding my life consistent. 'Symbiosis of Heart & Soul' is a love letter and celebration of my monumental fifth poetry collection to highlight that even the dark thoughts can be lessons learned with hope still standing. It’s the stories that extend over the course of a year in growing and learning what it means to be human once again. 'Symbiosis of Heart & Soul - Eclipsed Edition' is the complete picture of the healing I underwent and includes twenty poems originally meant for the initial release that I decided to reserve for their subject matter. However, one year later I can sit back and understand these are poems that add much more perspective to my life. What once belonged to me, now belongs for the world to see.Now sit back, take a deep breath, and prepare for a deep dive into the stories that have shaped the individual I now am and am still becoming. It’s time to experience what it means to have my very own symbiosis eclipse.
