Questo libro è diviso in due parti. La parte [A] parla della preparazione e delle caratteristiche delle nanoparticelle di simvastatina caricate con polimeri e della loro attività anti-iperlipidemica. La parte [B] di questo capitolo parla dello sviluppo del metodo RP-HPLC e della convalida della simvastatina dal farmaco sfuso, dalla formulazione in compresse e dalle nanoparticelle. In questo studio, sono state sviluppate formulazioni di simvastatina Np (SNp) contenenti SV utilizzando diverse proporzioni di polimero. In questo caso, abbiamo utilizzato il metodo della nanoprecipitazione per preparare nanoparticelle caricate con SV. Negli anni precedenti sono stati presi in considerazione anche altri metodi per SV Np e microparticelle, tuttavia non sono stati descritti studi per SV con polimero ELD. Sono stati riportati anche alcuni metodi per farmaci antipertensivi come lovastatina e satranidazolo. In passato sono stati fatti diversi tentativi per formulare forme di dosaggio a rilascio prolungato. L’obiettivo del nostro lavoro è preparare nanoparticelle polimeriche di SV per migliorare la solubilità, la velocità di dissoluzione e la biodisponibilità controllando le dimensioni delle Np. Inoltre, sviluppare un metodo RP-HPLC per l’analisi delle nanoparticelle di SV.
