Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Ältere Deutsche Literatur, Mediävistik, Note: 2,0, Universität Siegen, Veranstaltung: Drama und Theater der frühen Neuzeit, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Reformation, initiiert durch Martin Luther, bedeutete für das 16.Jahrhundert eine große Erneuerungsbewegung. Die reformatorischen Ideenfanden auf verschiedenen Wegen ihre Verbreitung, nicht zuletzt durch dasDrama. Das so entstehende Reformationsdrama verbreitete sich zunächst inder Schweiz und im Nordosten des Deutschen Reiches, bevor es in dendreißiger Jahren des 16. Jahrhunderts sein Zentrum in Mitteldeutschlandfand. Es handelte sich dabei nicht um eine völlig neu gestaltete Form desDramas, sondern eher um eine Vereinigung von vorangegangenen undzeitgenössischen Formen.Im ersten Teil dieser Arbeit sollen zunächst die Vorgänger desReformationsdramas, das geistliche Spiel, das Fastnachtspiel sowie dasHumanistendrama, kurz betrachtet werden. Daraufhin soll dasReformationsdrama näher beleuchtet werden. Der zweite Teil der Arbeitbefasst sich mit dem Drama „Ein geistlich Spiel von der gotfürchtigen undkeuschen Frauen Susannen' von Paul Rebhun. Dabei sollen zunächst einigeAngaben zum Autor gemacht werden, danach werden Inhalt und Struktur desWerkes vorgestellt.
