Eleven months after the first outbreak, Iceland and Greenland face the grim reality of the zombie apocalypse. For months, they watched the chaos unfold elsewhere, believing their isolation would protect them. That illusion shatters when the infected wash up on their shores and the virus spreads. As cities fall and survivors scramble, the leaders of both nations struggle to maintain order. Iceland’s government collapses in a bloody coup, while Greenland’s leadership fractures under pressure. Refugees flood into small towns, overwhelming resources and igniting tensions. Amid the chaos, a group of Icelandic scientists races to find a cure, pinning their hopes on a remote research facility. The journey to the facility is perilous. Zombies swarm the countryside, and desperate survivors turn on each other. The scientists, led by a determined virologist named Einar, face betrayal from within their ranks. An ambitious colleague steals their research, leaving them without crucial data. As hope dwindles, Einar receives unexpected help from a band of Greenlandic hunters. The hunters, skilled in survival, offer protection in exchange for a chance at the cure. This uneasy alliance is tested when they encounter a heavily armed militia hoarding supplies and weapons. The militia, led by a ruthless ex-soldier, demands the scientists join them or face death. Einar refuses, sparking a violent confrontation. Outnumbered and outgunned, the group narrowly escapes, but the cost is high. Several members are lost, and Einar is gravely injured. As he recovers, he and the hunters form a plan to retrieve the stolen research. They track the traitorous colleague to an abandoned fishing village, where he has set up a lab. In a daring raid, they reclaim the data but attract the attention of the militia. With the militia closing in, Einar realizes the only way to succeed is to sacrifice himself. He sends the hunters ahead with the data while leading the militia on a wild chase through a storm-ravaged landscape. The hunters reach the research facility and use the data to synthesize a prototype cure. Meanwhile, Einar makes a desperate last stand, luring the militia into a trap that destroys them but costs him his life. The hunters return to their communities with the cure, saving countless lives. The outbreak is contained, and the survivors begin to rebuild. Einar’s sacrifice becomes a symbol of hope and unity for both nations.
