Nos últimos anos, a estética do aparelho ortodôntico tornou-se um tema de grande interesse, com um número crescente de adultos a receber tratamento ortodôntico. A expetativa de ter sorrisos bonitos no final do tratamento ortodôntico é a principal preocupação de cada paciente, mas o paciente também se preocupa com a aparência durante o tratamento.
