The author explores its history, beauty of ancient monuments such as pagodas, shrine rooms, Buddha statues and many other art works scattered overs the region, inner Sukhothai, Outer Sukhothai and Phitsanulok city and Thai Sri Lanka relations. The region is evidence for the blend of different Buddhist art and architectural traditions. The text highlights mainly the ancient Sri Lankan influence on Thai Buddhism.
