’Ich erkenne, dass das Wort „Frustration' immer in mir nachgeklungen ist. Durch meine eigenen Erfahrungen habe ich verstanden, dass Frustration ein universelles Gefühl ist. Die Intensität der Frustration variiert von Person zu Person, wobei einige sie tiefer empfinden als andere. Während ein ständiger Zustand der Frustration selten ist, tritt sie bei den meisten Menschen intermittierend auf. Soziale Umstände spielen eine bedeutende Rolle bei der Auslösung von Frustration bei Menschen. Im indischen Kontext gehören Dalits zu den am stärksten frustrierten, aufgrund der systematischen Diskriminierung, der sie ausgesetzt sind. Die gesellschaftlichen und religiösen Strukturen unterwerfen Dalits einer kontinuierlichen Verfolgung, die sie zwingt, sich ständig zu beweisen und einen Kreislauf aus Ehrgeiz und Angst zu durchlaufen. Die Assoziation von Kaste mit der Identität von klein auf verschärft diese Frustration, da die Individuen bei jeder Wendung an ihren marginalisierten Status erinnert werden.Die Angst, aufgrund der Kaste etikettiert zu werden, durchdringt jeden Aspekt des Lebens eines Dalit-Individuums, von Schulinteraktionen bis hin zu sozialen Zusammenkünften. Die ständige Überwachung und Diskriminierung aufgrund der Kaste erzeugt ein Gefühl von Frustration und Unsicherheit, das im Kopf verweilt. Ich bin kein Psychologe, aber ich kann die Auswirkungen dieser Erfahrungen auf meine eigene Psyche bezeugen. Ich glaube, dass die Diskussion von Themen innerhalb eines spezifischen Kontextes manchmal unser Verständnis einschränken und bestehende Ideologien aufrechterhalten kann. Der Fokus auf Dalit-Kontexte in der Literatur und im Diskurs führt oft zu einer Wiederholung bekannter Narrative, die das Aufkommen neuer Perspektiven ersticken. Ich habe beobachtet, dass gebildete Dalits in städtischen Gebieten einer anderen Form der Ausbeutung ausgesetzt sind, einer, die heimtückisch und tief verwurzelt ist. Die subtile Diskriminierung und Herablassung von sogenannten gebildeten Oberschichten schafft ein Gefühl der Verzweiflung und Hoffnungslosigkeit, das ein Leben lang anhält. Diese psychologische Ausbeutung ähnelt einer Form ideologischer Verletzung und perpetuiert Gefühle von Angst und Depression. Wenn ich über meinen eigenen Weg nachdenke, erkenne ich an, dass ich, obwohl ich möglicherweise nicht die physische Brutalität erlebt habe, der Dalits in ländlichen Gebieten ausgesetzt sind, die psychologischen Folgen der kastenspezifischen Diskriminierung ebenso schädlich sind. Es ist eine Form der Unterdrückung, die in den Kern des Seins eindringt und einen bleibenden Eindruck beim Individuum hinterlässt.
