Jako próbę uwzględniono wyłącznie państwowe uczelnie wyższe w Rawalpindi i Islamabadzie. Po drugie, podczas gromadzenia danych zauważono, że w środowisku akademickim odsetek kobiet był wyższy niż mężczyzn. W rezultacie wystąpiła nierównowaga w proporcjach kobiet i mężczyzn wśród profesorów.
