This book is a compendium of various papers, studies, and essays on subjects ranging from the politics of ethnicity and specific country profiles, cultural studies with regard to minority issues in the United States of America (primarily black politics), and analyses of research in various settings, such as life experiences with respect to teaching in live settings, posing a research question, and narrowing down one’s interests to specific fields. The aim of this collection is to perhaps serve as a blueprint to help researchers, including students at various levels, in gathering what is involved with scholarly inquiry, focusing on a particular area to conduct an academic study, for example. This volume may also serve useful not only in helping one to develop a hypothesis, but in finding ways to address and resolve it successfully. This is simply a sampling of the vast opportunities available to students to assist them in satisfying their own curiosity at an academic level, may serve as a how-to guide in guiding one’s own research and, ultimately, may perhaps inspire many people to discover their own true passions in the process.

But Steffens' dogged quest for truth and justice set...
