Die ASEAN-Integration 2015 zwingt die Mitgliedsländer der Vereinigung Südostasiatischer Nationen (ASEAN) dazu, sich insbesondere im Bildungsbereich neu auszurichten und sich an dem zu orientieren, was für sie als Weltklasse gilt, damit sie in der Region weiterhin bestehen und miteinander koexistieren können. Dies ist die Herausforderung, vor der die Filipinos und ihre ASEAN-Nachbarn derzeit stehen - die Herausforderung, inmitten der widersprüchlichen, beängstigenden Chancen, die die Region erfassen werden, relevant zu bleiben.
