'Ungenauigkeit' ist hier eher im Sinne von Vagheit als im Sinne von Unkenntnis über den Wert eines Parameters wie bei der Toleranzanalyse gemeint. Die Fuzzy-Mengen-Theorie bietet einen strengen mathematischen Rahmen (es gibt nichts Unscharfes an der Fuzzy-Mengen-Theorie!), in dem vage begriffliche Phänomene präzise und streng untersucht werden können. Sie kann auch als eine Modellierungssprache betrachtet werden, die sich für Situationen eignet, in denen unscharfe Beziehungen, Kriterien und Phänomene existieren. Unschärfe ist bisher nicht eindeutig semantisch definiert worden und wird es wahrscheinlich auch nie werden. Je nach Anwendungsbereich und Art der Messung hat sie unterschiedliche Bedeutungen. Dieses Buch mit dem Titel 'Study on Posbist Reliability Theory and its Applications' stellt einige wichtige Aspekte der Fuzzy-Set-Theorie und einige aktuelle Ergebnisse ihrer Entwicklung vor. Es besteht aus vier Kapiteln. Das erste Kapitel besteht aus einer Einführung in die Fuzzy-Set-Theorie und verschiedene Ideen mit Definitionen, die zum Wachstum und zur Erweiterung der Fuzzy-Set-Theorie führen. Im zweiten Kapitel beschreiben wir Fuzzy-Variablen. Das dritte Kapitel besteht aus einer Studie über Posbistische Systeme. Im letzten Kapitel haben wir eine kurze Beschreibung der Anwendung der Fuzzy Set Theory gegeben.
