Les résultats de la recherche et des statistiques éducatives nationales et internationales soulignent à plusieurs reprises la nécessité de transformer le processus d’enseignement et d’apprentissage de la lecture afin de promouvoir chez les enfants le plaisir de lire, la volonté d’approfondir leurs connaissances et leurs compétences dans ce domaine et la valorisation de celles-ci dans leur processus d’apprentissage et de développement. En nous appuyant sur des perspectives théoriques et des orientations curriculaires actuelles, nous avons mis en œuvre, dans le cadre de notre action pédagogique, diverses stratégies didactiques permettant d’atteindre un ensemble d’objectifs visant à approfondir les compétences en lecture des enfants d’âge préscolaire et du premier cycle de l’enseignement primaire, ainsi que leur goût pour la lecture.
