Ein Unfall ist ein unbeabsichtigtes und unvorhergesehenes Ereignis, das in der Regel zu Personenschäden oder Sachschäden und sogar zum Tod führt und vielen Familien auf der ganzen Welt Leid und Unannehmlichkeiten bereitet. Unfälle können auf verschiedene Weise passieren, aber Motorradunfälle werden mittlerweile zu einem häufigen Ereignis auf unseren Straßen. Es gibt keine einzelne bekannte Ursache für dieses Phänomen, sondern eine Reihe von Faktoren, die zu Unfällen führen können. Dieses Buch versucht, die Faktoren aufzudecken, die den stetig steigenden Fällen von Motorradunfällen auf unseren Straßen zugrunde liegen, und mögliche Lösungen für die identifizierten Ursachen aufzuzeigen. Diese Ergebnisse basieren auf einer Studie, die auf kenianischen Straßen in Subsahara-Afrika durchgeführt wurde. Die wichtigsten Ergebnisse zeigten, dass Ausbildung, Alkohol- und Drogenmissbrauch, Straßen- und Wetterbedingungen sowie institutionelle Einschränkungen einen Einfluss auf die gemeldeten Motorradunfälle hatten.
