Peter is a shy and isolative 12 year old boy in the seventh grade. He loves being indoors away from crowds and he’s obsessed with junk food. When the school allows every learner to take part in the swimming try outs Peter is forced to participate and is chosen to represent the school swimming team. Peter tries hard to avoid being the centre of attraction but his swimming abilities drive him further into the limelight. Having to deal with his personal issues, Peter is forced to confide in his swimming lessons. Peter must put aside he’s parents’ divorce situation, the need to be alone, shyness and junk food diet to win the national swimming championship.
