His life experiences are both rural and urban. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. John and his wife, Brenda Lowry, are Independent Insurance Agentsnow residing in Slidell, Louisiana. He has received numerous awards for his monthly contributions as 'The Storyteller' in Slidell Magazine.
