Thus we all accumulate stones in our pockets; from them, we must learn to build strong foundations rather than walls for they will not liberate you until you let them go.Stones in my Pockets is the second collection of portraits, both poetic and photographic, from Thisbe Lloyd. Each of these ‘stones’, though varying in size, is sifted and shaken from the author’s deep pockets. Acerbic and questioning, yet passionate and deeply tender, they examine personal reflection and public projection and at heart ask what it is to be human, and ultimately vulnerable.
