In modern-day Wuhan, Stefan meets the beautiful and mysterious Wang Lian, a woman very different from all those he has met so far, who will drag him along with her in a whirlwind of adventures on the road, along the streets of the Chinese cities and countryside. The aim is to guard the cumbersome secret of Lian, a senior biologist at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, and get the secret and the beautiful woman safely out of the confines of the Chinese regime.Forced into disguise and hiding, Stefan and Lian will have to escape the clutches of the secret police as the circle around them tightens.
