Olga Haaker entwickelt in diesem Buch ein dynamisches Entscheidungsmodell zur Bestimmung einer optimalen internationalen Standortverteilung für Industrieunternehmungen. Hierbei werden die Investitions- und Finanzierungstätigkeit, die Produktion, die Beschaffung sowie der Vertrieb simultan geplant und eine optimale Standortentscheidung auf Basis des maximalen Vermögensendwertes getroffen. Die Autorin zieht die Methode der vollständigen Finanzpläne (VOFI-Methode) als Instrument des Standort-Controllings heran, welche bisher kaum auf die Standortwahl mit Hilfe eines Modells der Simultanplanung angewendet worden ist. Des Weiteren wird im Hinblick auf ein in der Praxis anwendbares Standortmodell das Iterationsverfahren von Miehle erweitert und ein neues, dynamisches Konzept mit Wertgewichten der Kundenorte entwickelt, um einen optimalen Produktionsstandort mit dem minimalen Kostenbarwert zu bestimmen.
