The aftermath of a tragic auto accident leaves Cyndi Prather orphaned and a ward of the state at eight years old, where she is soon placed into foster care. Over the years, this God-fearing, loving couple became more of a parental figure to her than her parents ever were.Cyndi wasn’t surprised when she aged out of foster care-she had seen it coming. On her eighteenth birthday, she takes a leap of faith and leaves behind the bustling city of Dallas, immersing herself in the charm of the small town of Hopewell. Even though she wasn’t adopted, this experience has empowered her and paved the way for the next chapter in her life. From the day she arrives at her rental, she is immediately faced with a perplexing conundrum. A knock on the door took her aback. A delivery man handed off a package, and inside was a rock no larger than her fist. The problem is that the address belongs to her, not the intended recipient. Shipments arrive daily, and in no time, her family room becomes a chaotic maze of small containers scattered everywhere. She embarks on a quest to find the mysterious recipient of the parcels, ’Lucky Stephens.’ During her search, she meets Nick Baker, a police officer and former Marine. He promises to assist her, making her mission their shared goal. She’d never given her heart away so freely, but an unpleasant high school experience made her guard it. Can Cyndi stay the course she has felt God lead her toward, or will she deviate from His plan?
