This book alerts the reader to the spiritual and historic significance of the time we live in, a time that the Bible describes in Hebrews 12. It is a time when everything that can be shaken is being shaken, so that only that which is unshakable remains. The book’s main purpose is to provide some Biblical ways in which the reader can become a more unshakable, storm proof Christian! For the person without Christ, this is a season of increasing fear and insecurity. For the believer this can be a time of increasing faith and security in 'in the secret place of the Most High.'It is a wonderful season of opportunity for believers to shine brightly in the darkness, pointing others to Christ by their lives. It is a time of great challenge and great opportunity for the church. To stand firm in this time requires growing beyond our present level of faith, and developing a greater level of intimacy with the Lord. A little dab will not do us in this day! This book will encourage you, and help you grow in faith and a closer daily walk with the One who is our unshakable Rock!Dan de Kock was born in South Africa, and met his wife Jan in Pennsylvania. They lived in Canada, then New Zealand, where Dan worked for the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research. They returned to the USA in 1988 and reside in North Carolina. Dan has taught in a number of local churches on Christian Maturity, Hearing God’s voice and the gift of prophecy, and Standing firm in a time of shaking. Jan is an artist, and Dan teaches in a local Community College. They have two children, and five grandchildren.

We’ve been duped into removing prayer from the center of our churches and have placed it on the periphery or semi-periphery.  What we’re witnessing today in our churches, and in society at large, is that legacy of prayerlessness.  Church leadership may be hesitant and embarrassed to admit it, but there is a direct correlation between our spiritual weakness and our lack of corpo...

If God is good, why do we get sick? When God created the world, He declared: "It is good." But then came the Fall, and with it sickness and death. In this heart-tugging monograph, Dr. Davis McGuirt draws from both his training in theology and the personal agony of watching his father die from cancer to provide a variety of biblical reasons for why we get sick. We are also remin...

  • A Tale of Two Churches
    Dan De Kock
As believers we stand at a fork in the road. Two different expressions of Christianity are emerging in the Body of Christ—believers growing in love for Jesus and others sliding back into apostasy. This book explores the two choices before us, patterned after the churches of Philadelphia and Laodicea in Revelation. Many churches contain a mixture, but as time progresses the two ...
