Ever have trouble remembering a password for a computer program? Or trying to balance a checkbook? The first section of this fun/serious/futuristic book of poetry offers up a number of humorous topics, then moves easily into serious topics, such as domestic violence, illness, even death. Finally, the poems gravitate into a bleak, almost apocalyptic future, focused on topics such as overdependence on technology and concerns for destruction of human life. Several are dedicated to others, including one devoted to the Challenger explosion. Some have been published earlier in anthologies and cover a span of perhaps twenty-five years in the author’s life.
