This story is a work inspired by the real life of the hard-working Frank W. Boykin, who demonstrated, developed, and was determined to devote every day of his life to the City,State, Nation, family and friends. He gave God credit for all his successes. Set against the ever-changing, dramatic backdrop of the Capitol and historic events that occurred in the United States during his lifetime. Frank Boykin’s story is about twenty-eight years of serving as a United States Congressman from 1935-1963. A lot can be learned for the year 2024 politics and how grievances between parties were settled without a lot of tension between parties. Many magazine articles, newspaper articles, Congressional Records, monuments and landmarks remain to remind us of Frank’s legacy in Washington and the state of Alabama that he loved dearly.
