ABOUT THE AUTHOREmily Jones Hudson was born and raised in Hazard, Kentucky. She graduated from Berea College in 1978 with a degree in English and went on to work as a reporter and women’s editor for a weekly newspaper in Indianapolis. She worked as a freelance writer in Cleveland, Ohio and has published articles and poetry in several journals, including the Appalachian Heritage published by Berea College and Kudzu, a Literary Magazine, published by the Hazard Community and Technical College. Emily Jones Hudson is an ordained minister, founder and Senior Pastor of CommonBond Christian Fellowship Ministries-Worship and Warfare Center. Other books by the author include Water-Walking Faith in 2009 (AuthorHouse) and Touch the Hem in 2015 (Xulon Press). You can visit her blog at mountainmanna.wordpress.com
