Este livro centra-se na investigação relacionada com problemas de transferência de calor e massa em várias geometrias com diferentes parâmetros físicos. As equações diferenciais parciais governantes são convertidas em equações diferenciais ordinárias acopladas e resolvidas utilizando técnicas numéricas suportadas pelo MATLAB. O Capítulo 1 introduz o tópico, a literatura, os conceitos básicos relacionados com a transferência de calor e massa, a teoria da camada limite e as equações relevantes. O Capítulo 2 investiga o escoamento MHD Darcy-Forchheimer Jeffrey de nanofluidos sobre uma folha de estiramento radial não linear com radiação e geração/absorção de calor. O Capítulo 3 explora o estudo numérico do fluido de Carreau sobre um microcanal vertical poroso, geração de entropia no transporte de calor. O Capítulo 4 analisa o escoamento radiativo de flutuação influenciado por reacções químicas de ordem superior e suspensões microbianas. O Capítulo 5 apresenta o escoamento radiativo de um fluido magnético de Casson através de um microcanal vertical, focando a geração de entropia estável. Ao longo dos capítulos, as EDPs são transformadas em EDOs usando transformações de similaridade, resolvendo BVPs de dois pontos. Os resultados são apresentados em gráficos e tabelas, mostrando perfis de velocidade, temperatura e concentração.
