Hubo accidentes que no ocurrieron, enfermedades que nunca llegaron, crisis que aparecieron demasiado tarde para destruirte o lo bastante pronto como para cambiar tu camino.No conservas recuerdos de esas ausencias. Conservas lo que hiciste: el esfuerzo, las noches difíciles, las decisiones, los riesgos, las renuncias. Y, cuando miras hacia atrás, todo eso ocupa el centro de la historia. Al fin y al cabo, fuiste tú quien vivió cada una de esas cosas.Fuiste valiente, disciplinado, persistente y brillante. Pero ¿fue todo eso suficiente? ¿O simplemente tuviste suerte?
