-ABOUT THE BOOK: This Sojourner Student Workbook was prepared for students of all ages who want to learn more about the Bible and grow in their knowledge and love of the Lord, Jesus, the Christ. This Student Workbook contains 52 weekly Bible study lessons, and it begins in Genesis, the first book in the Bible, and ends in Revelation, the last book in the Bible. Although the workbook can be used independently by any student, it is designed to be used as part of a group Bible study with a Sojourner Leader (i.e., a teacher) who is using the Sojourner Leader’s Guide. When used as part of a group study with a Sojourner Leader, students will gain additional insights as they discuss each of the lessons with fellow students and the group leader. The God of all creation has revealed Himself to us through Christ and His Word. As you begin this Bible study, ask God to give you wisdom to understand and love His Word-and to begin in you a journey of a lifetime as a wholly devoted disciple of Jesus, the Christ. 'Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation.' -1 Peter 2:2 NIV-ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Richard Kuenzinger began following Jesus when he was twenty-four years old. As a new believer, he read the Bible because he thought that would make him a better Christian-but he did not know how to study the Bible. Over the next thirty years, the Lord brought great teachers into his life who encouraged him to go deeper in his study. Through their encouragement and the work of the Holy Spirit, he began a journey of a lifetime in Bible study. A retired air traffic controller, Richard has been teaching the Bible since 1999-and he is still learning. When he began serving short term in international missions, he started thinking of himself as a Sojourner. He is currently serving as a disaster relief chaplain through the Southern Baptist Convention. Richard and his wife, Amy, have three children and four grandchildren. Their prayer is that everyone in their family-and yours-will grow in their faith walk daily.
