The cause and effect of working at Skyburst police department is so shocking that even some of the local police in the department are stunned. This does not involve just one station in this county but several stations and the corruption that occurs and the effects it can and does have on the author is astounding. The time it takes for the effect to have is many years and even though Lee Ann try’s to hold on she is confronted with outside personal that cause even more damage and eventually her career is taken away from her. Lee Ann and others go through things together when it is really not related to Skyburst P.D. she is found to have to endure it from even her family and friends and the way they treat her. The situation even her man who she is so much in love with, the way it started was a fairy tale affair and the hurt and turmoil he places on her.
