To prospektywne badanie miało na celu ocenę skuteczności oznaczania białka C-reaktywnego w surowicy i poziomu WBC jako narzędzi monitorowania u pacjentów z zakażeniami przestrzeni powięziowej pochodzenia zębopochodnego. Przeprowadzono je u 25 pacjentów zgłaszających się do Kliniki Chirurgii Jamy Ustnej i Szczękowo-Twarzowej PDM Dental College and Research Institute w Bahadurgarh w celu leczenia infekcji przestrzeni powięziowej pochodzenia zębopochodnego. Wszyscy pacjenci spełniający kryteria włączenia i żadne z kryteriów wykluczenia zostali włączeni do badania po wyrażeniu dobrowolnej świadomej zgody.
