It would seem that the era of manned aeroplanes is a thing of the past. However, the experience of modern wars and armed conflicts shows that it is too early to write off pilots at the controls of aircraft - even artificial intelligence cannot replace a well-trained pilot capable of taking responsible decisions in extreme situations.Perhaps the best example of combining manned and unmanned aviation today is the Israeli Air Force.Israel, a world leader in the development and combat use of unmanned aircraft, maintains and constantly increases its air power, investing huge resources in training pilots and acquiring the latest combat aircraft.
