Sketchbook Sand City

SAND CITY is large in tax base, small in population. This postage stamp piece of prime real estate sits between the cities of Seaside and Monterey California. Its residential section has always been minute, compared to its big box stores and local craftsmen. Over time it has also attracted local artists. For a couple of weeks each year, muralists ascend upon these sandy shores and add to this city’s urban landscape. For one weekend a year, one of Monterey County’s most beloved festivals takes over the core of Sand City for its annual West End Celebration. I decided to celebrate these events, the artists, artisans, food vendors, musicians, non-profits and all those who joined in the adventure, within this book, a book you can make your own...DEAMER SKETCHBOOKS: In case you haven’t heard, coloring books for all ages are becoming quite a passion.
