Prior to that, he had worked, while pursuing his PhD degree, at the National Institutes of Health, (NIH), Clinical Pathology Department, Bethesda, MD, alongside with his wife.He served as an Assistant Professor of Biology at Towson University, Towson, MD., for four years, after which that institution 'fired' him, or mildly put, 'refused to grant him tenure status.' Again, he stayed focused and resolute. He recalls this experience by saying 'when life throws a lemon at you, make it into a lemonade and celebrate!'His book encourages readers to persevere as they live their lives. Nobody promises you a 'rose garden', but be sure they have thorns. So beware. Equip yourself. Have a plan. If you don’t, like my beloved Mother had said to me, decades ago, 'John, have a plan (for your life), because if you don’t, you are planning to fail.America has no equal. She is the ONLY country I know where you can be all you want to be. It WONT be easy. BUT YOU CAN ACHIEVE YOURLIFETIME DREAM if you persevere and rise above your adversities. That’s why the American Bald Eagle fascinates me so much!
