I had several ideas for a book along with several titles for it, but it wasn’t until I became emotionally free, that I knew what the title of this book should be. 'Sister, Set Yourself Free!' is about knowing what love is, loving and respecting yourself and never letting anyone use you. All relationships should contain a level of trust and love that is beyond measures. If you are in any relationship that is holding you in bondage or holding you back from your goals and dreams, then you need to set yourself free. Being free is not only detrimental to your emotional well-being, but to your mental well-being as well. Don’t compromise yourself, your thoughts or what you know is right or wrong. Know that you deserve the best and don’t allow anyone to make you believe that you should settle for anything less.

In the 1930s, Freud observed that 'when you meet a human being, the first distinction you make is ’male or female?’ and you are accustomed to make the distinction with unhesitating certainty.' Stripping has become a big business, with over 3.5 million people, primarily men, attendin...

One Sunday afternoon after attending worship service at my church, His Kingdom Ministries in Durham, North Carolina, I sat alone in my room and began to talk with God. I wanted to know why a woman like me, who clearly LOVES the LORD with all my heart and soul, was battling so many storms back to back. At that very moment, while I was seeking God’s face, He reminded me that se...
