O Sistema de Detecção de Intrusões com Ajuste Automático (ATIDS) realiza o ajuste automaticamente. A ideia principal consiste em utilizar o binário SLIPPER como módulo básico, o qual é um sistema de aprendizagem de regras baseado no reforço com classificação de confiança. Este sistema é avaliado utilizando o conjunto de dados de deteção de intrusões NSL-KDD. Os resultados experimentais demonstram que o sistema SCIDS, com o algoritmo SLIPPER, apresenta um melhor desempenho em termos de taxa de deteção, taxa de falsos alarmes, custo total de classificação errada e custo por exemplo no conjunto de dados NSL-KDD, em comparação com o sistema KDD.
