A murder mystery that begins with death threats against a Prince Edward Island women’s art collective over their new exhibition. The show (prompted by graffiti on the artists’ storefront window reading: hell is this sirens island) is premised on the idea that sirens are a mythical expression of men’s fear of women’s voices and that misogynistic myth can be rewritten.
