O presente projeto trata das formulações de tintas de impressão flexográficas e de rotogravura à base de solvente, que têm viscosidades baixas e diferentes aditivos são incorporados no aglutinante, com a adição de novas diaminas (como a 1,4-fenilenodiamina e a 2,4-diamino piridina). A diamina aromática pode proporcionar uma melhor eficiência no produto final, como a molhagem melhorada do pigmento, a co-ligação com moléculas de pigmento e substrato, resultando numa melhor adesão e brilho da impressão. Serão utilizados ácidos gordos disponíveis localmente. Atualmente, as resinas de poliamida estão a ser importadas para serem utilizadas pela indústria local. Ao fazer investigação neste domínio, podemos gerir e apoiar a indústria gráfica local para fabricar o produto localmente, poupar divisas e criar emprego na produção de resina.
