Este livro trata da extração de dióxido de titânio da ilmenita por meio de um processo de lixiviação ácida e da sua aplicação na degradação e em células solares. Nano composto de TiO2 sintetizado por um método eletroquímico que é barato e muito simples de usar em trabalhos industriais. O TiO2 é um material de alto risco em muitos campos de aplicação. Pode ser produzido a partir da ilmenita por lixiviação ácida, primeiro com HCl e depois com H2SO4. Ambos são adequados.
