Il libro consisteva in un lavoro di ricerca su uno degli argomenti della sintassi. Il titolo riguarda la generazione e la ricorsività. L’iterazione di una frase e i suoi schemi ricorrenti possono creare molte frasi. Queste frasi sono usate per scopi orali tra gli esseri umani. In questo libro, per lo studio della ricerca viene utilizzato un metodo di ricerca quantitativo. Come strumento di ricerca è stato utilizzato un questionario composto da 20 item. Il questionario è stato poi sottoposto a una procedura di raccolta dati. Dopo la procedura di raccolta dei dati, la ricerca è stata analizzata utilizzando SPSS (Pacchetto Statistico delle Scienze Sociali). Il risultato è stato ottenuto e quindi è emerso che la produzione di sintassi è una delle parti fondamentali della comunicazione umana per la produzione del parlato.
