Sillie and Wawabird are twin sisters who absolutely adore each other and just hate to be apart. Wawabird is the risk-taker of the two and often influences her sister in innocent, but mischievous ways. This book is about Wawabird taking an unwise risk by skipping class to impress her sister. As the story unfolds, they end up finding each other unexpectedly and learning an important lesson along the way. About the Author Belkis Finalet has written many stories about Sillie and Wawabird. Sillie & Wawabird: Skipping Through School is her first published children's book. She began writing these stories in the late 1990s about herself and her twin sister. She received a B.S. in Nutrition from the California Polytechnic State University and has spent the last fifteen years in the pharmaceutical industry.
