Guru Nanak, who appeared in this illusionary world in mid 15th century, was a great revolutionary as well as a reformist thinker. He established the Sikh institution through emphasizing on the concepts of Shabad Guru. His light (Nanak-Jyot) later through his successors taught the world the concept of humility, compassion, righteousness and service to the Guru. The concept of Shabad Guru and Shabad Brahm was prevalent since ancient times, but the importance which was given by Guru Nanak and his Jyot to the Shabad Guru is really ineffable. When someone enshrines the ambrosial words of the True Guru within their heart, they became totally in bliss (Maha Anand). The one, whom The Lord bless with His mercy, they constantly meditates and recite the prayers of Lord. Even through becaming the dust of the feet His humble servants, one became able to sacrifice their life and get the blessed Vision of His Darshan. Gurus and their ferocious Sikhs sacrificed their life and emerged in the Eternal Light. Later, Maharaja Ranjit Singh established the First Sikh Empire.
