The main character of the book, an eccentric Aleph McNaught, is at a crossroads in what he sees as a meaningless life. Abused as a child, he turns to drugs and ends up locked up in an asylum before launching into a new and wild life populated by a host of multiple personalities.McNaught, as narrator, invites the reader on a psychotic ride into his crazy headspace while commenting on the state of a fictitious society. His goal is to tilt the axis of the old world order just enough to make a difference to the way people think. Only then can the megalomania in politics, economics, society and religion cause the old world order to spin out and unravel. In its place, a new world order will gather up the threads on an axis realigned to the demands of an ever evolving 21st century world.Aleph invites the reader to help him empower the people of his beloved crippled country by offering them an absurd other-worldly alternative that offers political stability, social equality and economic security. He promises a tamper proof solution that can last forever.

  • Vietnam ... Viet-Bloody-Nam
    Davide A Cottone
The story revolves around two childhood friends, Manfred and Tony, who were nurtured in the country-side in the fifties and enjoyed the utopia of a nation at peace that was carefree and full of hope after WWII. Vietnam replaced all that with a dystopia where conflicting ideologies trapped one in the dehumanising cauldron of war and spat out the other onto the streets in protest...
