Shades of Intolerance: How Capitalism and Terrorism Shape Discrimination examines issues related to power dynamics and diversity within the United States and globally. He is a coauthor of the textbooks Globalization: A Text for the Social Sciences and Understanding Sociology, as well as a past recipient of the Lindback Award, which recognizes distinguished teaching excellence.
