It all began on December 31, 2016, with chapter one, verse one, which came to me after a series of individual, sporadic revelations. And, it all finished on May 9, 2018. The receiving of the Book of Lehi was off and on, with me taking breaks because life got in the way. Some days, a sentence would come, and other days, a whole page would come to me. There were times when I was receiving revelation, would get distracted by a wandering mind or a random sound, and I would forget what had just come to me. It was frustrating, but I really should have been concentrating. All of the words came directly in English. There were no corresponding, foreign language characters linked with the English, so any vague and confusing vocabulary and phrases should be researched and deconstructed. This is a transliterated edition of a translation from an ancient text. Any reader should use careful discernment when discussing vocabulary and meaning through the text. This testament is in the form of a quasi-epistle, with the writer, Maxwell, quoting Lehi extensively. He claims to not be a prophet, yet he also said that he wrote what God wanted him to write. Question this testament and research it. I’m under the impression that everything should be questioned and nothing should be accepted or believed in without one’s due diligence done in terms of verification whether it be through the Spirit, prayer, research, or a combination of the three. I had some doubts here and there about the validity of this testament. I mean, when a person like me starts to receive revelation, I can’t help but question whether it is of the Devil or of God. Before I started to write down what came to me each time, I prayed - rebuking Satan and opening my heart to God. This testament is not part of the Book of Lehi and the 116 pages that Smith started translating from April to June 14, 1828. Through receiving this testament and reading it repeatedly, it is my thought that this was written by someone who knew Lehi and his family well. He was a strong believer and seemed to have powers against the Deceiver because of his faith. However, with this being said, I still believe there is a divine nature to this testament. The Spirit guided Maxwell just as I was guided by the Spirit when writing all this down. Mr. Ferriman, First Elder in the Fellowship of Christ, has received some revelation which, at times, matched up with what I had received from Go
