This book presents a general history of the Seneca Nation covering significant events from the 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. The beginning of the project provides a basic Haudenosaunee cultural background. The history of three major dislocations from our homelands, four major epics of warfare, institutionalization of our children, treaty-making, events affecting our sovereignty, major political and economic changes and developments, and the return of Onöndowa’ga:’ land are addressed.
