The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between free time and alienation. In a post-industrial society with various alienating aspects, individuals have certain moments that allow them to engage in self-mediation. In this sense, free time is the key space-time for maintaining or breaking with prevailing values and alienation. This study seeks to understand how these concepts are connected.
